NoVi aka Vy is the lead vocalist of the Scifidelic Rock Circus Super Geek League. Born and raised in north Chicagoland, she doesn’t remember a time when music was not in her world. Classically trained in grade school, she then moved into jazz and pop studies in college. She performed various styles with groups in the Midwest and Seattle before crossing paths with the fated SGL. Her first venture into the rock scene, she discovered her new home. She has since performed in cities across the U.S. and Canada, both at local venues and larger festivals such as Sasquatch, Bumbershoot, and NXNE. Her voice has been compared to the likes of Shirley Bassey, Grace Slick, and Pat Benetar, and her style has been consistently difficult to categorize as it spans vast influences.
Overall she cites her time with SGL has been ” the weirdest, most wonderful journey I never saw coming.”

Super Geek League (SGL) is best described as an “Epic Sci-Fi Punk Rock Circus,” whose musical style has been aptly termed “Domination Rock.” This eclectic performance ensemble from Seattle, Washington is comprised of a twelve piece band with additional stage performers and dedicated support crew. SGL has been described as “The Polyphonic Spree meets System of a Down” or “Circus Primus meets Salvador Dali on Zappa.” Thunderous stacks of guitars hint of Korn and Slipknot. Add to the mix a “Walls of Jericho” horn section, and “beauty and the beast” vocals which shift between soulful harmonies and guttural screams. An over-the-top stage show includes custom sci-fi stage fx, interactive video, an industrial strength confetti canon, stilt walkers, sexy cabaret dancers, wild and strange characters, crowd surfing and signature pillow fights. SGL is an extravaganza of sound and sensory overload that riles fans and followers into frenzied states of ecstasy!
