SAS provides a vibrant travel community on a journey that’s defined by their experiences and the people they meet along the way. When you travel with Sisters and Suitcases you don’t simply visit a destination or take a tour; you’re immersed in the culture. You meet locals and learn alongside them, dance with them, explore their country the way they see it should be explored, which in return allows you to get the most authentic travel experience from people who breathe, live and know it best. Sisters and Suitcases changes the way you experience a destination. Think tastemakers curating the best trip of your life.

SAS recently embarked on an eight-day trip through Egypt in October. The SAS Experiencers started in Cairo and made their way to Luxor where they sailed down the Nile River and ended in the Village of the Nubians who ruled over ancient Egypt for close to 100 years and were one of the first civilizations to establish homes along the Nile River in Aswan. It was pretty cool, to say the least. Take a peek at the details….

The Trip

Each day planned was a balance between chill and enough adventure to get your heart rate pumping and keep you in suspense. There was no need to think about how you were going to get from one location to the next because it’s all included in your trip! SAS takes away the stress of planning so you can truly enjoy your trip. The founder, Tamaya Walker McClendon, requires no less for SAS guest than she requires for herself, so you know the hotel was on point in Cairo where they stayed at the Four Seasons and sailed down the Nile River on a Luxury Cruise.

Highlights of the Trip

The highlights of the trip were the handpicked experiences. Sisters and Suitcases took their experiences on a once and lifetime adventure. Here’s a sampling: dinner in the home of a local Egyptian family, watching the sunrise over the Valley of the Kings & Queens from the hot air balloon, sailing down the Nile River, seeing the only remaining member of the seven wonders of the world and so much more.

Group Travel

Far from the average travel company, Sisters and Suitcases is all about smaller sized group trips. More than 85 percent of SAS guest travel solo. Everyone that traveled with SAS to Egypt came alone and was looking to have a great time and make new friends. The trip was curated in a way where there was ample time for yourself if you wanted to take a break away from the group or you can choose to hang around the whole time and have a blast, meet new people and create memories.

Create Incredible Memories

After you’ve spent time in Egypt with SAS, you’ll return home with incredible memories, a different way of seeing things and an unbreakable bond to the place you just experienced.

So what are you waiting for…..Join in on a 2019 SAS Experience, seriously, do it. They’re headed to some amazing places
