After returning from our biggest trip yet on January 4th to Egypt with over 70 attendees, we’re jumping right to our favorite country: Haiti. In partnership with the PAP Jazz Foundation, we will be hosting our annual Port-au-Prince Jazz Festival trip that includes a 2-day trip to Cap-Haitien where we will spend a day on a Luxury sailing yacht visiting Paradise Bay and a visit to the Citadelle Laferriere and Palais Sans Souci–a must-see for anyone visiting Haiti. We will continue on to Port-au-Prince where attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception, after-hour jazz concerts nightly, a visit to the Rhum Barbancourt Distillery, the Mupanah national Museum and more!

We dive into February with exploring one of the biggest celebrations in Haiti: Jacmel’s Carnival! Attendees will enjoy four jam-packed days exploring the beautiful culture of Haiti, visiting Jacmel, the Bassin Bleu waterfall, enjoying a costume and mask making tour, a sip, and paint, and the main event: Kanaval! Attendees will get to experience the artistic parade and party with some of the top musical bands in Haiti!

We kick off March with not one but two trips to Marrakesh, Morocco. The first trip to Morocco was so popular that it sold out in seconds leaving us with no choice but to add a second trip: a deep dive into the Moroccan culture that includes lodging in a Riad, nighttime tour with a local, a visit to Le Jardin Secret, Yves Saint Lauren’s Jardin Majorelle, a day of pampering at the Royal Mansur: the king of Morocco’s spa, day tour of the Atlas Mountains, and a special added bonus: a hot air balloon excursion! This trip will be the ultimate Moroccan experience!

We will visit Cartagena, Colombia for the holiday weekend in May–tasting delicious food through a local street food tour, learning about Colombian culture by visiting the Palace of Inquisition, checking out the Walled City as well as a Rhum Tasting and experiencing amazing excursions like a visit to the Rosario Islands!

Shortly after Colombia is our annual road trip in June from NYC to the city of Montreal to spend a weekend in a cozy cabin near the national park Mont Tremblant with our own private chef, just before June is complete, our staple luxury trip to the French Riviera kicks off on June 28th exploring the south of France and all the luxuries it offers. We spend a week in a luxurious private home right outside of St. Tropez while visiting sexy high-end restaurants, a vineyard for a private wine tour, a day on a catamaran, and a day trip to Cannes, Monte Carlo, and Monaco. The coolest part of this trip is the complimentary transportation from the Nice airport to St Tropez in a luxury helicopter celebrity style! You don’t want to miss this one!

Jumping into Labor Day weekend, we will be hosting one of our favorite trips: Cuba! Cuba has been loved by many of our clients for quite some time. We will visit both Santa Clara, Cuba’s edgiest town and the gorgeous colonial city of Trinidad. Experiencing Cuban culture is a one of a kind experience from the music, the food, and most importantly, the people! We will experience Disco Ayala, affectionately known as “las cuevas,” a nightclub housed in a natural cave with a true underground vibe in Trinidad de Cuba. We’ll get to check out Fabrica de Tabacos Constantino Perez Carrodegua which is one of the best tobacco factories in Cuba to visit!

Jumping into October, we’ll be hosting our staple Cap-Haitien trip that we host about twice a year. This trip is for those who enjoy a mix of culture and relaxation. The trip always includes a visit to the roots of our freedom, the Citadelle Laferriere as well as the Sans Souci Palace. Attendees enjoy relaxation in a beach house with their own private beach, a private chef, and lots of fun in the sun!

Last but not least, we’ll be ending the year with a bang by hosting a New Year’s Eve experience to Thailand! Like all of our NYE trips, this trip will be eight days of magic all the way on the other side of the world. In typical Haitian Nomad fashion, this trip will focus on the more authentic experience from a local’s point of view and not your typical tourist excursion. Attendees will enjoy a hands-on Thai cooking class, go island hopping while enjoying spectacular views, checkout the elephant sanctuary, and visit some amazing temples just to name a few. Let’s not forget the life-changing four-hand-massages!

The most exciting part about our 2019 calendar is not only will we be visiting some amazing places for the first time, but there may be some surprise pop-up trips dropped at any moment. We can’t wait to host you!
